Course Selections
HELLO GREYHOUNDS!
We are excited to help you start planning for the 2023-2024 school year!
An Academic Plan is the blueprint for how each student will reach their goal of graduating from Healdsburg High School in four years. Naviance uses the grades and credits (aka transcript) from Aeries to help the student plan which classes to take each year at HHS to meet graduation requirements. During course selections, students and parents can use their Naviance Academic Plan to make sure they are selecting the correct courses to meet graduation requirements.
Students who wish to be eligible to apply to a 4-year university in their senior year of high school must meet different requirements known as the “a through g’s” or “a-g’s”. At this time, Naviance cannot track “a-g” eligibility. If you have questions about whether or not you or your student in on track to graduate “a-g” eligible, please contact your school counselor.
All current students will be making formal course selections in Aeries by the end of February. Please use the following information AND your Naviance Academic “Course” Plan to help you make informed decisions.
